Privacy Policy
This page describes what actually happens on Wrist & Found today, not a generic policy template. It will need updating as features change — see the note at the bottom.
What we collect
Browsing: like any website, our server and hosting infrastructure log standard request information (such as IP address and browser user agent) as a normal part of serving pages. We don’t currently run any separate web analytics or advertising-tracking script.
Comments are currently disabled. This site doesn’t collect comment data (name, email, or otherwise) because commenting isn’t turned on. If that changes, this page will be updated first to describe exactly what’s collected and why.
Gravatar is currently disabled. No data is sent to Gravatar or any other avatar service, because that feature isn’t turned on.
Accounts, watchlists, email alerts, deal submissions, and a newsletter are not live yet. We collect none of the data those features would eventually involve, because those features don’t exist on the site yet. This page will be rewritten before any of them launch.
Affiliate links
Wrist & Found participates in the Amazon Associates and eBay Partner Network affiliate programs (see our Affiliate Disclosure). When an affiliate link is live on this site and you click it, it takes you to the merchant’s own site (for example, Amazon or eBay), which has its own privacy practices and may set its own cookies or tracking, entirely separate from anything on wristandfound.com. We don’t control what happens on their site.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell personal data. We don’t run advertising-network trackers. We don’t have a mailing list to add you to, because we don’t have a mailing list yet.
Children’s privacy
This site isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from children.
Questions, corrections, or data requests
Contact us at [email protected] — including to ask what data we have about you.
This policy reflects the site’s actual current configuration. As comments, Gravatar, accounts, watchlists, email alerts, deal submissions, or a newsletter are enabled or built, this page will be updated to describe what each one actually collects and why — not written in advance of a feature existing or while it’s turned off.
